Simpson Performance Products Reassures Racers – Our Products Are SFI Approved

March, 30, 2010 – On March 26th, 2010 SFI Foundation issued a notice of decertification; notice to cease and desist, and a notice terminating all contracts of participation to Impact Racing. Effective April 27, 2010, all products manufactured and/or distributed by Impact Racing pursuant to SFI Specification Programs 3.2A, 3.3, 16.1, and 16.5 are decertified. SFI has also elected to terminate all Contracts of Participation with Impact Racing effective 90 days from March 24, 2010. This means that Impact will no longer be able to participate in any SFI programs after this 90 day period.

Monster Energy’s Greaves and McGrath Choose a Simpson Devil Ray Helmet

Monster Energy and off road racing’s elite team of Johnny Greaves and Jeremy McGrath have selected Simpson Performance Products as their official helmet supplier for the 2010 off road racing season. Greaves and McGrath both will wear the Simpson Devil Ray carbon fiber helmet. With over 70 off road racing career wins since making the move to four wheels, former motorcross rider Johnny Greaves has earned the title of “winningest driver in off-road short-course racing” and currently holds the world record for the longest jump in a four-wheeled vehicle at 301 feet. McGrath, notibly the most successful rider in Supercross history, holds twelve major championship titles. Having conquered Supercross, he is quickly making a name for himself in short course off road racing.

John Force Racing Partners with Simpson Performance Products in Multi-Year Safety Initiative

New Braunfels, TX (February 3, 2010, For Immediate Release) Simpson Performance Products and John Force Racing have reached an agreement naming Simpson as the official safety gear for John Force Racing, beginning with the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle season. The partnership between the two companies will further the safety initiatives undertaken by The Eric Medlen Project, a safety initiative that grew out of the tragedy that claimed the life of promising young driver, Eric Medlen.
