Simpson Performance Products Acquires Stilo S.r.l.

New Braunfels, Tex. (Dec 16, 2015) - Simpson Performance Products, Inc., a portfolio company of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. ("BRS"), today announced it has acquired Stilo S.r.l. ("Stilo"), an Italian auto racing helmet manufacturer.

(Dec 15, 2015) - At the conclusion of the PRI Show in Indianapolis John Force Racing and Simpson Performance Products agreed to extend their sponsorship through the 2018 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. John Force Racing has been protected by Simpson Performance Products for over four decades and three generations of racers.

Simpson Performance Products Acquires Twisted Stitch

New Braunfels, Tex. (Apr 21, 2015) - Simpson has acquired the assets of Twisted Stitch, an Anaheim, California based manufacturer and marketer of seats for off road recreational vehicles. Leo Grillas, who started Twisted Stitch in 2007, will continue to lead Twisted Stitch as its General Manager. Chad Berry will continue as Operations Manager.

The World’s Lightest HANS Device Receives FIA Approval

New Braunfels, Tex. (Mar 18, 2015) - The HANS Pro Ultra Lite, Medium 20 is now approved by The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)*, making the device the lightest weight HANS Device available to FIA sanctioned racers. The FIA approval comes on the heels of approval by the U.S. based SFI sanctioning body in 2014.
