Harvick’s second-place run catalyst for late success?

Even before Clint Bowyer’s spinning car came to a stop in front of the main grandstand, Kevin Harvick knew his chances of winning Sunday night’s Pep Boys 500 had evaporated. While crew chief Gil Martin showed obvious disappointment on the pit box when the caution flag flew with 16 laps remaining, Harvick’s frustration was much less evident.
