My name is Ross Wakefield and I am the older brother
of Justin Wakefield. Team Simpson is a partial sponsor
for him in the USAR Hooters Procup Series. He was in a serious accident
at their most recent event at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil,
GA. Although the wreck did not appear to be severe, it completely
totalled the car. Luckily he was wearing Simpson Performance Products
from head to toe and was protected throughout this crash. During
the accident, his # 98 Grace Mortgage Ford went completely airborn
for a moment and then proceeded to crash fullspeed into the wall.
The force of the impact was so strong that his head hit a portion
of the rollcage and cracked the helmet. Due to the safety of Simpson
products, he was able to walk away from the accident (without a concussion)
and conducted a T.V. interview directly afterward.
We are grateful that
Simpson continues to produce such high quality products
and look forward to being part of that team long into the future.

me with any questions or if you need anything further from me.
Best Regards,
Ross Wakefield

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone
at Simpson Racing. One Saturday I was at my local go-kart
track that reaches speeds of 65 mph and coming out of
a turn someone spun and I hit them and went high off
of the track. I did about 7 flips over a distance of
about 30 feet and went over a 4 foot fence. My Simson
jacket had some tears and my Simpson helmet got a little
scratched but I walked away. If I hadn't been wearing
Simpson then that would be me with the tears and scratches,
not my safety equipment. I walked away with only minor
cuts on my legs which is due to me wearing blue-jeans
at the time instead of Simpson race-pants. A video of
my wreck can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkDwehxYnw4
Thanks,

Just wanted to thank Simpson for making an excellent
product which probably saved my life last weekend. I had what
appeared to be a normal roll over in a Mini-Sprint race car until
I was hit on the roll cage inches from my head. We think the
cars hood possibly came in the car and hit me in the head. The
helmet appears to be broke on top and did its job, I didn't even
have a head ache the next day. It was a freak accident but
I am greatful I had your equipment taking care of me. Thanks
for all you do and for providing us with quality equipment. I
am sending you a picture moments before impact, we're estimating
the speed when I get hit at around 50 mph.

Sincerely

I am so greatful for your product. Last year while racing Karts on a half mile,
I hit a kart that spun out in front of me...I launched over the Kart and hit
head first into a guard rail. My Simpson helmet has cracks that perfectly match
up to the guard rail. I also had just bought your neck brace about a month
before that race. I refuse to buy any other brand now. My crash helmet was
the Super Bandit, now I wear your Desperado. I have always had a Simpson jacket
and shoes, since I can remember. I was knocked unconscious for 4 and half minutes,
but I don't expect much better when hitting something like that headfirst,
where I was previously going 80 mph. I spent two days in the Hershey Trauma
Center, but walked right out the following morning. I can promise you guys
I will never buy another safety brand name. With the service and support Simpson
provided me, we refuse to go elsewhere.
Thanks a bunch.

I was involved in a wreck during a hot lap session
at South Mississippi Speedway. If it wasn’t for my Dad, brothers,
friends, fellow racers and track workers and my Simpson safety gear,
I might not be around to talk about it. I want to make it clear that
I was wearing SIMPSON from head to toe. I have to give thanks to Simpson
Performance Products because I walked away from this fiery accident
without being burned. My three layer Simpson suit can be hot to wear
sometimes but this night, I thanked God I had it on. You can see the
video at www.dirttrackvideo.com.
