WITH V-AERO™ TECHNOLOGY
New Braunfels, TX, November 9, 2004—Simpson Performance Products
Inc. introduces the Valor Helmet with V-Aero™ Technology for unmatched
stability at high speeds. With this helmet, Simpson will also introduce
Competition Coatings™ which is an improvement in the manufacturing
process that improves chip resistance.
The sleek design, proper balance and weight make the Valor Helmet
very user friendly. The V-Aero™ Technology improves the flow of
air over and around the helmet. The design is such that the helmet
has a lower drag coefficient and resists both lifting and buffeting. The
built in down force chime helps to counteract lifting which
can be a problem in some forms of racing.
Competition Coatings™ is an improvement in the bond between the
shell primer and the finish paint. The result is a chip resistant
finish with unsurpassed gloss, durability and chemical resistance. This
process will be applied to all new Simpson helmets in the future.
