SIMPSON PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS OFFERS CARBONX® OPTIONS IN 2004 CATALOG

Market leader, Simpson Performance Products, joins select group of vendors to offer CarbonX protective apparel to the racing community

SALT LAKE CITY and NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - March 22 , 2004 - Chapman Innovations and Simpson Performance Products announced today that CarbonX® products are available in the 2004 Team Simpson catalog. Safety apparel offered by Simpson will initially include long underwear and socks. Simpson will also offer CarbonX as an option in custom racing suits.

CarbonX flame resistant materials can withstand temperatures up to 2,000 degrees, can be comfortably worn next to the skin, and will not shrink or char when exposed to flame.
